Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer on-site and telephone assistance to customers for maintenance, repair, and installation of CNC machine tools.
  • Create Technical Documentation: Develop and update technical documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for customers and internal teams.
  • Assist in Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to train end customers' Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of new product lines.
  • Establish Customer Relationships: Foster and maintain excellent communication and customer service relationships with clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
Requirements
  • Experience in Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting: Possess experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools, with knowledge of metalworking, installation, repairs, and programming/operating CNC machines with 3, 5, or 7 axes.
  • Robotics and Control Systems: Experience with robotics (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, Mori Seiki, etc.), Siemens controls, or Heidenhain is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams.
