- Contribute to a collaborative working relationship with the nursing unit.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of John Muir Health.
Requirements:
- BSN – Required.
- National Certification: Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center – Preferred.
- 2 years Nursing - Acute Care - Required.
- Previous Charge Nurse, Relief Charge Nurse, or related experience required within the last 2 years.
- 1000 hours Nursing - Medical/Cardiac or Telemetry - Must be Obtained within last 2 years - Non-core Requirement.
Certifications/Licensures:
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Registered Nursing – Required.
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association – Required.
- OCBC ONS_ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate - ONS Oncology Nursing Society - NON-CORE – Required within 18 months of hire date or transfer date.
Skills:
Non-Core:
- Must be competent to care for oncology and palliative care patients within 3 months.
- Must be competent to care for patients with oncologic emergencies within 12 months.
- Must meet clinical core qualifications within 18 months.
Pay Range:
$111.23HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.Scheduled Weekly Hours:36
