Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and accurately document findings.
- Develop, review, and adjust care plans based on patient evaluations.
- Implement medical and nursing directives as per established care plans.
- Assess patient responses to care and provide education to patients and families as necessary.
- Supervise support staff (LPN, CNA, and PSA) in delivering patient care.
- Engage in Bedside Shift Reporting.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure adherence to nursing standards and practices.
- Coordinate patient care with healthcare providers and support services to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Complete unit-specific training and ongoing competency assessments as required.
- Participate in family and patient care conferences, as well as daily operational meetings.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Wyoming Registered Nurse License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC).
- Completion of required training within the designated timeframe.
- A minimum of six months of nursing experience is required (twelve months preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited institution.
