Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and accurately document findings.
  • Develop, review, and adjust care plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Implement medical and nursing directives as per established care plans.
  • Assess patient responses to care and provide education to patients and families as necessary.
  • Supervise support staff (LPN, CNA, and PSA) in delivering patient care.
  • Engage in Bedside Shift Reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure adherence to nursing standards and practices.
  • Coordinate patient care with healthcare providers and support services to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Complete unit-specific training and ongoing competency assessments as required.
  • Participate in family and patient care conferences, as well as daily operational meetings.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current Wyoming Registered Nurse License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC).
  • Completion of required training within the designated timeframe.
  • A minimum of six months of nursing experience is required (twelve months preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited institution.
