Job Overview:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will conduct imaging examinations and treatments in accordance with established radiology standards, contributing to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. You will also undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of radiologic principles and theories, employing the most suitable techniques and positioning to achieve optimal imaging results.
2. Formulate effective imaging plans tailored to individual patient needs.
3. Execute imaging procedures in alignment with hospital protocols and guidelines.
4. Ensure meticulous documentation to adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
5. Maintain imaging equipment, treatment rooms, and workspaces in a clean and safe manner to protect both patients and staff.
6. Engage in departmental Performance Improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of patient care.

Qualifications:

Education:
Minimum: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or a recent graduate awaiting registry examination. Proof of ARRT must be provided within 60 days of graduation. A state license is required where applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of employment.

Licensure and Certification:
Minimum: State license as required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ARRT(R) certification.

Skills:
Minimum: Basic computer literacy skills.
