Key Responsibilities

  • Site Supervision: Direct and supervise a team of construction personnel, including subcontractors, to ensure the safe and efficient execution of projects.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including customers, architects, engineers, and other team members, to ensure that project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards, and that any defects or issues are promptly identified and resolved.
  • Safety Management: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive safety program to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards associated with construction projects, and develop strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit regular project reports, including progress updates, budget reports, and other relevant information, to ensure that stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a construction management or supervisory role, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction personnel. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Certifications: Possess relevant certifications, such as OSHA, First Aid, and CPR, as required by JF Petroleum Group.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to project sites, and ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
