Position Highlights:
This role is well-suited for proactive individuals who thrive in hands-on environments, collaborating closely with production teams and leadership to transform concepts into actionable designs.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Development of lifting and handling fixture designs and associated process support
  • Learning and applying advanced crane operations and heavy load transport methodologies
  • Creating lifting and handling documentation and construction strategies
  • Formulating risk mitigation plans for lifting and handling operations
  • Initiating and executing process enhancements while supporting the implementation of innovative ideas

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Civil (Structural) Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Familiarity with lifting and handling techniques and/or structural fabrication processes
- Capability to secure and uphold a security clearance through the appropriate government channels

Preferred:
- Experience in submarine design and/or construction
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and technical projects effectively
- Proficiency in NX, Teamcenter, SOLIDWORKS, and/or AUTOCAD for 3D modeling, structural analysis, and 2D drawing creation

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks involving climbing, crawling, kneeling, light lifting, reaching, stooping, and twisting in various environmental conditions including cold, dry, dusty, hot, and noisy settings.
