About the Role

Avid Technology Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure systems and architectures to protect our clients' sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security systems and architectures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud configurations, including AWS Config and CloudTrail.
  • Design and implement host-based protection solutions, including Trellix, CrowdStrike, and Tanium.
  • Develop and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts to support system accreditation efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and recommend best practices to the team.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber security systems engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization, and secure-cloud configuration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Scaled AGILE Framework (SAFe) environment.
  • Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: CyberArk, ForeScout CounterAct, CrowdStrike, Tenable Nessus, Splunk, PKI, chain of trust, and certificates.
  • Understanding and application of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
