POSITION OVERVIEW:
The role involves overseeing the setup, upkeep, and seamless functionality of all technological systems and software utilized by the organization, encompassing administrative, financial, and operational areas.
This position offers a competitive salary of $94,000.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are essential and may include additional tasks as required: Ensures that all technological hardware and software solutions align with departmental needs.
Conducts thorough inspections and evaluations of hardware and software prior to deployment. Implements regular preventative maintenance protocols for computer systems. Provides comprehensive training for all personnel utilizing technology. Develops and enforces network and system protocols. Establishes and monitors security measures for network and systems. Performs additional responsibilities as directed by upper management. Oversees database management and disaster recovery strategies.Safeguards the internal network using intrusion detection systems and firewall implementations. Maintains an in-depth understanding of the organization while adhering to all established standards.
Ensures compliance with all software licensing agreements. Manages and protects software assets and associated licenses. Utilizes a Requirements Log System to identify and fulfill technology needs in a timely manner. Formulates and manages the technology budget, overseeing and approving related expenditures. Reviews and authorizes cost pool expenditures.Assists with other responsibilities as necessary and directed. Develops and maintains technology policies, standards, and procedural documentation; creates and updates relevant technology checklists.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
Leads a team of 3 system analysts within the IT department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these team members. Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable regulations.
Conducts interviews, hires, and trains staff; plans, assigns, and directs work; performs performance evaluations; recognizes and addresses employee achievements and issues; resolves conflicts, and manages complaints.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; or a minimum of three years in networking.
Familiarity with WAN, Firewalls, VPN, DHCP, WINS, DNS, TCP/IP, and Microsoft Windows OS with Active Directory, as well as casino player tracking systems and point of sale systems is advantageous.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical manuals, or governmental regulations. Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documents. Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from management, clients, customers, and the public.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Required: Colorado Support Gaming License.
