Resource Float Registered Nurse

We are seeking a PRN Resource Float Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and promote a positive patient experience.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is a 280-bed acute care hospital located in San Antonio, Texas. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including emergency care, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and acute rehab services. Our hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center, and we have received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Disease-Specific Care Certification of Stroke Rehabilitation.
