Job Title: Application Systems Analyst II

Join Johns Hopkins Health Plans, a leader in provider-sponsored health plans, as an Application Systems Analyst II. In this role, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for analyzing and resolving system issues, developing and managing application code, and advising on potential application modifications and enhancements.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with business and technical resources to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve system issues
  • Develop, support, and manage application code, user interfaces, and third-party integration components
  • Advise on potential application modifications, enhancements, smoke testing, patching, or business process changes as appropriate
  • Solicit and document customer requirements, then leverage development/delivery skills to facilitate the completion and ongoing maintenance and support of new enhancements/features/updates post go-live
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience working with mainframe, client-server, cloud, or enterprise applications in the areas of requirements gathering, requirements definition and analysis, and business analysis, or other general system support tasks
  • Experience with SQL query writing and relational database concepts
  • Good understanding of EDI transactions 270/271, 835, 837, 276/277
  • Experience working with Facets and Facets data models and data extracts
  • Experience working with Facets online modules such as billing, provider, claims, and membership modules
  • Exposure to change and release management process
