Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Slope Vehicle Shop Supervisor to join our team at Steamboat Ski Resort. As a key member of our Vehicle Maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all ski resort vehicles and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of shop floor mechanics to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair orders and inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Proven supervisory experience with a strong focus on safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical certification preferred
