Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Clerk to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a Retail Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, front end, and restrooms.
- Restock shelves, process transactions, and perform other tasks as needed to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving shipments and stocking shelves.
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
- Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and cash handling experience required.
- Desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Adaptability and willingness to assist other employees in order to get the job done.
- Good, solid common sense and the ability to think logically.
- Basic mathematical aptitude and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently or within a team.
Work is performed in a retail store setting, open to the public. While performing the duties of this job, exposure to outside weather conditions which can include inclement weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is typically performed on a level surface however the use of a ladder or working on an elevated surface may be required as needed. Temperature varies throughout the store ranging from -10 to 85 degrees. Required to physically interact with customers.
CompensationExpected compensation for this role is between $20.72- $22.26 per hour, depending on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. This role is also eligible for overtime compensation and shift differential. This part-time position is ineligible for benefits.
