Job Summary

The CNC Machinist Programmer will be responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming the CNC machine, and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specifications are met. This individual will work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure proper build books are created in a timely manner to meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CNC programs for various manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve overall shop processes and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance to hourly employees
  • Work with production teams to ensure timely completion of build books
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate programming
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 1 year of CNC programming experience
  • CAD/CAM experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • CNC programming experience in both traditional and macro
  • Project management skills with ability to handle multiple complex situations daily
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative, and creativity
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and organizational integration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
  • Green Belt or Black Belt Certification or equivalent quality certification
