Qualifications/Requirements Associate's Degree in a Machining discipline and a minimum of 1 year general machine shop experience in set-up and operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines: including mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc.
ORHigh School Diploma/GED with a Machining certification from an accredited university with courses that cover: Mathematics, CNC Milling, CNC Lathes, Print Reading, Machine Tooling, G&M code, FANUC controls, and hands on machine application (i.e. capstone, shop hours) and a minimum of 1 year general machine shop experience in set-up and operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines: including mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc.
ORHigh School Diploma / GED with a Journeyman's card with completion of a Machining apprentice program and a minimum of 1 year general machine shop experience in set-up and operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines: including mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability, with or without accommodation, to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds
Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
Ability and willingness to work occasional weekend shifts
Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
Ability and willingness to take a pre-employment test and submit to technical interview

Able to work with computerized shop floor tools to include, but not limited to: vouchering systems, on-line quality programs, and payroll management tools
Ability to work alone or as part of a team with minimal supervision

The pay for this position is $34.27 per hour with a $3.35 per hour transition adder. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases.
