We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in providing nutritional care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop tailored dietary plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding nutrition and dietary needs.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position with standard hours, including weekend and vacation rotations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Current licensure as a Dietitian-Nutritionist in the state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in pediatric nutrition.
Additional Requirements:
Licensure must be obtained within a specified timeframe after employment. Specialty certifications are encouraged and should be pursued as per organizational guidelines.
