About Us: The Savannah Music Festival is in search of a dedicated and results-oriented Sales Associate to support our ticket sales initiatives. This role is essential in driving ticket sales for our upcoming festival, contributing to its ongoing success and expansion.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust network, have experience in the non-profit sector, and share a passion for music and the arts.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
Identify and engage potential clients to promote ticket sales for the Savannah Music Festival through various methods, including direct outreach, phone communications, and email marketing.
Group Ticket Sales:
Create and execute strategies aimed at selling group tickets to various organizations, schools, and businesses, offering tailored packages and incentives for bulk purchases.
Advertising and Sponsorship:
Seek out and secure opportunities for advertising sales and corporate sponsorships when applicable.
Networking:
Utilize existing connections and cultivate new relationships with community leaders and influencers to enhance ticket sales and attendance.
Client Relations:
Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and returning customers, providing comprehensive information about the festival, its lineup, and ticketing options.
Event Promotion:
Actively market the festival's events, artists, and unique features to boost visibility and ticket sales.
Market Research:
Conduct research to uncover new sales opportunities.
Sales Tracking:
Monitor and report on sales activities and outcomes, providing regular updates to the Marketing Director.
Collaboration:
Partner with the marketing team to devise and implement effective sales strategies and promotional efforts.
Customer Support:
Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in sales, particularly within the events or entertainment sector.
Strong existing network with connections to potential group buyers and sponsors.
Experience in group sales, bulk ticket sales, advertising sales, and corporate sponsorships is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with non-profit organizations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasive and negotiation capabilities.
Self-driven and capable of working independently.
Familiarity with sales tracking tools.
A passion for music and the arts is a plus.
Compensation:

Work Schedule:
Flexible hours with some evenings and weekends required to achieve sales goals and attend events.
