Role Responsibilities
As an associate, you will be engaged in significant project development and financing activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing documentation, including credit facilities and security agreements.
- Handling procurement, project development, construction, and joint venture agreements.
- Advising clients on joint ventures and strategic transactions in relevant industries.
- Coordinating deal teams across various practice areas and locations.
- Addressing legal issues in heavily regulated sectors.
- Conducting due diligence and legal research as required.
- Acting as the primary contact for clients and other legal teams.
- Providing support to senior attorneys in daily legal service delivery.
- Mentoring junior team members and participating in professional development initiatives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in project finance.
- Fluency in Spanish is essential; proficiency in Portuguese or French is advantageous.
- Strong academic credentials and a proactive approach to learning.
- Admitted to practice in Washington D.C.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Client-focused with a collaborative mindset.

This position is based in Washington, D.C., and operates in a hybrid work environment.
