Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Odin Health And Rehab Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
  • Assist with admissions, including assessments and documentation.
  • Implement acute and long-term care plans or service plans, and collect data as needed.
  • Track clinical systems, such as wounds or infection control, under the director's direction.
  • Provide general consultation on health-related concerns within the community.
  • Notify physicians and/or family members of any changes in a resident's health and provide proper documentation.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
  • Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
  • Understand the role of the Safety & Disaster Plan.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
  • Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Qualifications
  • Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
  • Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
  • Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.
