Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled LPN to provide high-quality nursing care to our patients. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist with the direction of nursing services, delegate duties, and monitor patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
  • Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel.
  • Monitor patient care and observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions.
  • Notify attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients in the unit.
  • Implement orders of changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to work as charge nurses and work as needed during emergencies.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified yearly.
