Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer / In-Building Wireless (IBW) Consultant to join our team at Go Intellects. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience working in operational public safety communications systems and a strong background in RF engineering services, including LMR radio system, software, and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide RF engineering services for LMR radio system, software, and programs
Test Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) that support FirstNet and P25 public safety radio communications
Provide IT support for Mobile Routers, including Router imaging, minor repairs, software updates, and router performance reports
Provide IT support for Tablets/Toughbooks, including imaging and configuration, software updates, and user administration
Support various capital project tasks associated with radio system infrastructure, subscriber deployment, DAS systems performance monitoring, and interference resolution
Support / complete agency radio programming requests
Manage / coordinate radio encryption and OTAR upgrades
Develop radio training material for internal and external users
Develop technical guidelines for radio use
Perform field surveys of new and existing BDA installations
Troubleshoot IBW network interference issues
Investigate IBW network coverage issues
Support OUC radio operations
Provide IT support for Mobile routers and Panasonic toughbooks

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
