About the RoleThe Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital will independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. This role is part of our NSH Nursing Excellence Track (NEXT) Program, which provides a supportive and educational environment for new nurses to develop their skills and competencies.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the NICU
- Participate in a Northside Hospital Nurse Residency Program
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing
- Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Other cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) may be required based on the specific clinical unit
- BSN degree
