We are in search of a seasoned Mechanical Engineering Lead with a wealth of experience exceeding 10 years in sectors such as oil and gas, materials management, or utilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust technical capabilities in structural and mechanical assessments and possess substantial experience with boilers or steam generation systems.
Core Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage mechanical engineering initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Execute comprehensive structural and mechanical evaluations to bolster project designs, ensuring safety, dependability, and efficiency.
- Offer technical guidance in the design, operation, and upkeep of boilers and steam generation systems.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to deliver superior engineering solutions.
- Conduct feasibility analyses, risk evaluations, and cost-benefit assessments for proposed projects.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, encompassing technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, promoting professional development and growth within the team.
- Remain updated on advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and industry best practices.
- Ensure adherence to all pertinent safety and environmental regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas, materials management, or utilities sectors.
Demonstrated proficiency in structural and mechanical evaluations.
Extensive experience with boilers and steam generation systems.
