About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team at Live Nation Entertainment. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bars and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to perform day-of-show duties, including managing bar staff and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues and providing solutions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with the Security and Guest Services teams to ensure that service standards are met and that guests are satisfied with their experience.
  • Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to Live Nation policy, including maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Inform guests of venue amenities and make recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain a line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through the work area and reporting any issues encountered.
  • Suggestive selling of venue products and services when applicable.
  • Stay up-to-date on all Standard Operating Procedures and effectively communicate them to team members.
  • Create pre-shift sheets and relay information from management to staff.
  • Turn in lost and found articles to the Box Office.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per Responsible Alcohol Service training and Live Nation alcohol policies.
  • Ensure proper line of sight maintenance by all staff at all points of guest contact and maintain the security of Back of House areas.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings prior to the start of the shift.
  • Communicate any issues that guests or team members may have to the MOD.
  • Work with the MOD to resolve any and all guest issues, consulting or involving management if the situation escalates.
  • Responsible for completing incident reports and collecting witness statements.
  • Assist the MOD with all ejection logs and incident reports.
  • Required to work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue.
Requirements
  • Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service, and guest relations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a live music environment.
  • College diploma in a related field.
Physical Demands/Working Environment
  • Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful.
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
