About the Role

City National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Fraud Investigator Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis on clients' transactions identified through fraud operations and strategy to identify rings, scams, and fraudulent activities that impact CNB's clients and corporate losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis on various transaction types, including credit, cash, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, and loans.
  • Document investigations with well-reasoned and supported decision-making, utilizing internal bank systems and external research tools.
  • Utilize root cause analysis to identify solutions to reduce future fraud risk.
  • Demonstrate personal excellence, including punctuality, integrity, and accountability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Work Experience)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in risk management or fraud related functions
  • Minimum 5 years experience in fraud investigations
Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates with advanced computer experience, analytical skills, and good judgment. A solid understanding of deposit, credit, and money movement transactions, as well as potential fraud attack vectors, is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,296 - $104,304 per year, based on location and experience. City National Bank offers competitive benefits and perks, including bonuses and commissions.
