The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) is a specialized 24-bed unit designed for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The primary patient demographic includes, but is not limited to, individuals recovering from acute cerebrovascular accidents, patients requiring ventilator support, gastrointestinal bleeding cases, chronic kidney disease, and those with newly diagnosed or ongoing diabetes, as well as patients undergoing general and thoracic surgical procedures who need close monitoring.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Sentara, you will have the opportunity to advance your career in a supportive environment. Qualifications:
- Active RN License
- BSN or MSN preferred
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
