Job Title: Division President

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Division President to lead our residential home builder's growth plans in the Dallas market. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all construction, sales, warranty, and purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the firm's proposed growth plans and oversee all operational activities, including project management, scheduling, procurement, quality control, safety, and logistics.
  • Manage construction operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and on-time construction timelines.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
  • Determine labor requirements and work with field personnel and purchasing to meet objectives.
  • Manage the new home starts process to ensure delivery of permits to meet the business plan.
  • Work directly with the Purchasing Department to ensure bid processes are followed and contracts are complete prior to opening new communities.
  • Coordinate logistics with Purchasing to ensure timely deliveries of materials.
  • Oversee Costing/Estimating to ensure construction details are incorporated within the scope of work on all vendor contracts.

Requirements:

  • 15 years (minimum) of Construction Department Management experience.
  • Experience of managing multiple departments, including construction, purchasing, warranty, and sales.
  • High volume production home building ground up construction experience.
  • Dallas based construction market experience.
  • Solid Construction Planning Scheduling and Project Management experience.
  • Track record of process improvement, including on-site and operational processes.
