Job Summary:

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for implementing speech/language pathology services to patients. This role requires a strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as the ability to assess and treat patients with a range of communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' communication, oral-motor integrity, cognitive status, memory, and problem-solving abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and hearing disorders
  • Administer speech therapy programs using specialized techniques and equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Minimum one year of experience in speech-language pathology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
