Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. This role involves working in a school environment, providing valuable support to Speech-Language Pathologists and delivering essential services to students with diverse communication needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language needs.
  • Support in the development and implementation of tailored education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to support students' progress and communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
  • Current state certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility for certification.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and follow direction from supervising SLP.
