Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Ensure the highest quality programming content and implementation, tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of our residents.
  • Family Support: Provide outreach and support to families, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Memory Care Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in managing and supporting memory loss, and apply this knowledge to create effective programs and services.
  • Care Partner Concept: Champion the care partner concept throughout the Terrace Club, promoting a culture of collaboration and support among team members and residents.
  • Team Leadership: Assist in the recruiting, hiring, training, and development of team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care.
  • Operational Management: Oversee staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and high-quality care.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular team member recognition, engagement, and performance management, driving excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Passion for Seniors: A deep commitment to the well-being and quality of life of seniors and their families.
  • Experience: One year of experience in assisted living, long-term care, and working with memory-impaired seniors, with a strong preference for those with management experience and a college degree.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and daily operations supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate small group presentations and engage with residents and families.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications and systems.
