Job Summary

UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Radiology/Cardiology team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • BLS and ARRT certification required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center/teaching facility preferred.
  • Experience with Siemens MR equipment required.
  • Epic and PACS experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patients.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and protocols.
