Job Summary:

Shriners Children's is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services, producing high-quality images, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging services, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, as requested by medical staff.
  • Produce high-quality images that meet departmental standards and protocols.
  • Prepare orders accurately and manipulate machines for proper film acquisition.
  • Label and manipulate images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky cabinet for Human Resources.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association.
  • One year of clinical experience in radiography preferred.
