Job Purpose:

Think Power Solutions LLC is in search of a skilled Payroll Analyst to enhance our accounting division. This role involves managing bi-weekly payroll cycles utilizing Paylocity payroll software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and oversee bi-weekly payroll for multiple states.
  • Ensure accuracy in the reconciliation, balancing, and transmission of payroll data to Paylocity.
  • Review and balance payroll outputs, implementing controls to comply with legal and tax obligations.
  • Compile and submit all necessary data to the payroll vendor in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting to address and resolve payroll-related issues effectively.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive desktop procedures for payroll compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
  • Serve as a backup for the Payroll Manager, ensuring continuity in payroll operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reconciling payroll general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Establish and uphold payroll processes and policies, ensuring documentation is current.
  • Engage in training sessions to remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and fulfill job-specific training requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in payroll.
  • Proficient in Paylocity processing with strong report writing capabilities.
  • CPP certification is preferred but can be substituted with relevant experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state tax regulations and wage garnishments.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Paylocity processing.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to generate payroll audit reports using Paylocity.
  • Excellent quantitative and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and accurate project completion.
  • High integrity, self-motivated, and independent work ethic.
