Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee dining services operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Manage a team of food service professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and a high-quality dining experience.
  • Maintain interdepartmental relations, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Assist with profit and loss management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Work with the culinary team to create menus and ensure top-quality food presentation.
  • Assist with the rollout of new culinary programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for client presentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2 years of food service management experience.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Waited table and catering experience is preferred.
  • Some knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and communication skills.
  • Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
