About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Researcher to join our team at Hennepin Healthcare. As a key member of our research faculty, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the field of Infectious Diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct clinical trials and implementation science studies in Infectious Diseases
  • Collaborate with our research team to develop and implement research protocols
  • Conduct research in areas such as HIV cardiometabolic and aging complications, HIV and STI prevention, malaria, immunology of effective host responses and immune-mediated pathology
  • Develop and maintain a clinical practice in Infectious Diseases at Hennepin Healthcare
  • Participate in educational activities related to fellow, resident and medical student training
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree with Board certification in Clinical Infectious Diseases
  • Current, or eligible for, license to practice in the State of Minnesota
  • Research experience, funding, and publication record commensurate with career stage
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced training in research (e.g., MPH, research focused fellowship)
  • Demonstrated ability to compete for research grant support
