National Project Manager


is a traveling role with national responsibilities, overseeing the daily operations of all designated environmental initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, client relations, vendor selection and procurement, material sourcing, scheduling, budgeting, financial oversight, proactive safety adherence, and quality assurance.

This position also involves close collaboration with all project stakeholders to guarantee optimal client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.


COMPENSATION:
Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000

Commission OTE Range: $50,000 - $100,000

Vehicle Allowance

This role supports the national team, primarily operating from the Denver, CO office, with up to 25% travel required.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Field Management:
  • Establishes strong relationships with project stakeholders, instilling confidence in project management capabilities.
  • Executes all contracted scopes in accordance with industry Best Practices.
  • Ensures all work is appropriately contracted or subcontracted.
  • Secures necessary building permits and adheres to all governmental regulations.
  • Complies with OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Assists the Project Director with managing change orders.
  • Oversees site personnel and subcontractors, promoting safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Successfully manages buyout processes, submittals, quality control, safety compliance, scheduling, and project closeout.
  • Maintains high standards of customer communication and service.
  • Delivers an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensures project work meets the highest industry standards.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Office Management:
  • Ensures all subcontractors operate under valid agreements per Best Practices.
  • Reviews and approves invoices with appropriate communication to the project team.
  • Accurately tracks and maintains project costs on budget worksheets.
  • Aims to meet or exceed revenue and profit margin targets set by BluSky.
  • Creates, updates, and presents project schedules to clients, the Project Director, and VP on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for mentoring and training junior team members.
  • Monitors change orders and additional project costs through signed change order forms and budget updates.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:
This position leads, manages, trains, and develops site personnel and subcontractors on assigned projects, fostering team cohesion within BluSky.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • 7+ years of experience in Abatement or construction project management with projects exceeding $5M.
  • Expertise in trades, Abatement processes, project management, financial oversight, and administrative processes.
  • Strong ethical standards, integrity, and capability to operate autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer and technology applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders and local authorities.
Preferred:
  • Certifications in OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, CPR, and First Aid.
  • Experience in Abatement for multi-family, hotel, and multi-building campus projects.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Alternatively, 10+ years of full-time experience in Environmental or Construction Project Management with sophisticated clientele.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as necessary, including potential out-of-area and overnight travel for training or meetings.
