About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and research in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and developmentally appropriate health maintenance for well children, episodic care for ill children, and comprehensive care for children with chronic conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Assume independent and interdependent responsibilities in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental Quality Improvement programs and contribute to the development of advanced nursing practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide education, research, and consultation services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing required.
  • RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact required.
  • FNP, NNP, PNP-BC, WHNP-BC, CPNP-AC, or AG-ACNP from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • FNP, PNP-PC or PNP-AC strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 plus years of experience as a nurse practitioner managing children with complex medical needs strongly preferred.
