Job Overview

The Behavioral Health Specialist will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to our clients. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering compassionate care and making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves working with at-risk youth and other populations with special needs. The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational and time management skills. They will also be required to maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

* Provide individualized clinical and behavioral interventions to clients as outlined in their treatment plans
* Work collaboratively with clients' networks of supports and other providers to improve outcomes
* Respond to phone calls, contacts, and communications from clients, family members, guardians, and outside agencies in a timely and professional manner
* Assist support staff as needed with securing PCP referrals, parent/guardian signatures, and reminders for appointments

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a Human Service field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, etc.) or a related field
* Minimum 60 hours of college education
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Working Conditions

* Must be physically capable to receive verbal and written directions
* Remains current in Crisis Prevention Intervention Training, CPR, and First Aid
* Must be willing and able to work with all patients, regardless of gender

Salary

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
