Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Piedmont Medical Center as a Behavioral Health Nurse Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical patient care and supervision of staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and individualized care.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct clinical patient care to assigned patients
- Supervising staff to ensure that care is delegated appropriately
- Collaborating with the Clinical Nurse Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Participating in unit-level decision-making to optimize resource management related to patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited institution
- Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a nurse in your state
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities

What We Offer

Piedmont Medical Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
