Reliability Engineer

The Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking a skilled Reliability Inspector to support and manage the overall mechanical inspection program for fixed production equipment at our manufacturing facilities. This role requires a strong background in inspection and mechanical integrity, with the ability to work effectively in a fluid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the mechanical integrity program for fixed equipment
- Develop and execute inspection strategies to meet mechanical integrity program requirements
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with other departments
- Ensure systems and processes are in place for efficient fixed equipment management
- Collaborate with NDE technicians and other stakeholders to achieve inspection goals
- Recommend asset care, including inspection, repair, and capital investment for process equipment
- Manage and recommend budgets for equipment reliability
- Perform pressure equipment and tank inspection, corrosion monitoring, and nondestructive testing
- Utilize Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) techniques to plan and manage inspection programs
- Lead and participate in incident investigations and technical report writing
- Manage equipment inspection data bases
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Preferred certifications: API 510, API 570, API 653, CWI, NBIC
- Minimum of 10 years' previous inspection and/or mechanical integrity experience in an industrial manufacturing plant or refinery
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
