As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing scenarios for our customers, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scenarios for our customers, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and unblock work for our big government sovereign environments.
  • Participate in code review processes to ensure that code meets the team's and Microsoft's quality standards.
  • Help to augment test cases and assure that features have good test coverage.
  • Embody our Culture and Values, including respect, integrity, and accountability.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance.
  • Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
Benefits and Compensation:

Microsoft offers a competitive salary range of $98,300 - $193,200 per year, with different ranges applicable to specific work locations. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
