Overview:

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is essential in advancing the ISO certification initiatives across various facilities within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization. This role involves performing risk management evaluations, facilitating ISO audits and certifications, and developing and sustaining ISO-related documentation, among other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance the company's ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001 Management Systems to guarantee compliance and ongoing improvement.
  • Conduct thorough risk evaluations and implement effective risk management strategies to address potential hazards.
  • Assist in facility audits and the ISO certification processes.
  • Examine relevant documentation to ensure compliance and create/maintain ISO-related records as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) with a focus on ISO standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO workplace safety protocols is essential.
  • Familiarity with ISO environmental systems and ISO energy management is advantageous.
  • Experience in risk management is required.
  • Direct involvement with ISO facility audits and certifications is highly desirable.
