About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at SunSource, a leading provider of industrial repair services. As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of our production team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Production Activities: Oversee the activities of production associates, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet company delivery targets and revenue goals.
  • Interface with Sales and Customers: Collaborate with sales teams and customers to provide assistance related to repair and remanufacturing activities, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Train and Develop Associates: Train and monitor associates in all aspects of their required duties, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Manage Product Flow and Inventory: Monitor day-to-day product flow to achieve company delivery targets and revenue goals, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary parts and materials to meet customer demand.
  • Manage Operational Costs and Budgets: Manage operational costs and budgets, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Build a Positive Culture: Help build a positive culture of cooperation, teamwork, and communication within the production team.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Management Experience: We are looking for an experienced manager with a strong background in the machine tool industry.
  • Strong Computer Skills: You should have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and confidently on the telephone and write clearly and succinctly through email communication.
  • Basic Accounting Principles: You should have a basic understanding of fundamental accounting principles and negotiating skills.
  • 4-Year College Degree or Equivalent: A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
