Patient Services Specialist for Pulmonary Clinic

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Services Specialist to join our large Pulmonary clinic in NE Portland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately scheduling appointments, obtaining and completing insurance information, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments for new and established patients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Obtain and complete insurance information for patients
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Update patient records as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of medical front office experience
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite preferred
  • Excellent phone skills and customer service skills
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
