Position Summary:
As a Campus Retail Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and assisting store management in various retail operations to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate sales transactions using cash, credit, or financial aid methods.
  • Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Support store operations by efficiently operating equipment and cash registers while maintaining quick service and accurate transactions.
  • Maintain store presentation by organizing, shelving, and cleaning products and areas within the store.
  • Temporary roles require availability for weekly shifts for a duration of 90 days or less, including some weekends, with flexible scheduling for various shifts.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular movement throughout the store to access different departments and products.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting of items.
  • Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.

Compensation Information:

Pay for temporary positions starts at $18.75 per hour.

Health and Safety Considerations:
Our stores adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local guidelines regarding health and safety protocols. Depending on campus requirements, positions may necessitate proof of vaccination. Wearing face masks may also be expected during shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for temporary employment.
  • Comfortable engaging with customers to provide an elevated service experience.
  • Possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Basic skills in math, typing, and data entry.
  • Flexible availability throughout the academic year, especially during peak times.
