  • Manage the maintenance management software.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Regularly assess and review employee performance.
  • Draft validation documents, user requirements, equipment specifications, and other necessary documentation.
  • Advocate for and support a Lean Manufacturing culture within the facility.
  • Enhance processes and procedures to produce high-quality products at minimal costs.
  • Prepare quotes for new automation lines and engineering services for both new and existing clients. Develop supplier relationships and maintain audits. Create design concepts for new automation.
  • Lead the process engineering team in qualifying new molds and refining existing processes.
  • Provide leadership to engineering staff. Organize and allocate tools and supplies for departments. Take charge of various engineering projects as assigned.
  • Conduct meetings with customers on-site and off-site to identify needs, requirements, and specifications. Build relationships with customers and automation suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and ongoing business.
  • Organize and provide training for the department. Procure tooling-related equipment in accordance with company policies.
  • Accountable for project cost management and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders while meeting production and quality standards.
  • Keep machine and plant equipment drawings up to date.
  • Oversee the operations of the site engineering teams.
  • Develop initial project scopes, timelines, savings, and cost estimates.
  • Write Project Expenditure Requests (PER) and project justification documents.
  • Define equipment requirements.
  • Investigate new technologies and methodologies for plant use.
  • Present justifications to management and/or customers to secure approvals.
  • Lead project teams and facilitate team meetings as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
  • Adhere to all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and safety rules.
  • Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science field is preferred.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, workflows, production equipment, and industrial techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
  • A robust mechanical background and experience with CAD and SAP systems are advantageous.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10-20% of the time.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to perform job duties as required with limited physical demands.
