**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Design Coordinator to join our team in Honolulu, HI. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for providing design management and coordination services to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

**Responsibilities**

* Provide design management and coordination services to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget*

* Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors*

* Develop and implement project quality assurance procedures*

* Monitor schedules, billings, and reports; ensure accurate charging of manhours, costs, and expenses*

* Identify new business opportunities and promote firm's capabilities*

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in field(s) of practice (Architecture, Engineering, etc.)*

* Minimum 8 years of experience in project production and technical professional activities, with 3 years as a design coordinator*

* Proven interpersonal skills, public speaking, and persuasive ability*

* Strong project financial management and team management skills*

* Knowledge of production support systems and personal computer proficiency*

* Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred*
