Beverage Service and Sales Responsibilities

As a Bartender at ASM Global, you will be responsible for setting up and servicing individual beverage locations. This includes properly handling cash, enforcing all liquor laws, and verifying and accounting for all liquor inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and service individual beverage locations
  • Properly handle cash and enforce all liquor laws
  • Verify and account for all liquor inventory
  • Maintain proper sanitation of work area
  • Follow proper safety practices in the work area
  • Provide pleasant and efficient service to customers
  • Report to F&B Personnel in appropriate uniform, for assigned location
  • Prepare all beverage items for sale in the station
  • Sell to customers, charging amount indicated on ASM GLOBAL price list
  • Receive and handle cash and/or tickets
  • Accurately verify all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor
  • Verify cash register is programmed properly, according to ASM GLOBAL approved sales prices
  • Follow Bar Procedures described on the following page
  • Follow all rules and regulations which apply to the beverage operations and to ASM GLOBAL Food and Beverage Division
  • Request identification for every guest purchasing alcohol
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Food Service Manager

Requirements:

  • Ability to take directions and effectively perform the work
  • Sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
  • Basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees
  • Pleasant personality and a neat appearance
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry/lift according to industry standards
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must hold a current New Mexico Alcohol Server's Permit
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
