Job Title: Heavy Civil Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of heavy civil construction projects, with a focus on bridge construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, specifications, and timelines in collaboration with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Analyze project scope and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Lead project teams by setting clear goals, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
  • Track project milestones, schedules, and budgets, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and potential issues.
  • Identify and develop mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
  • Implement proactive measures to ensure safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor project quality to ensure workmanship, materials, and construction methods meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and correspondence.
  • Prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders, summarizing project progress, challenges, and financial status.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on bridge construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software, cost estimation tools, and scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
