- Utilize mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics expertise to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Supervise maintenance team members and provide guidance on maintenance procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to planned schedules, including cleaning and lubricating machinery and inspecting equipment operating conditions.
- Identify and address root causes of equipment problems.
- Participate in sourcing capital equipment and manage green tag safety protocol for new equipment installations.
- Serve as a member of the safety committee and plan and execute building remodels and expansions.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanical and electrical experience.
- Prior welding experience with wire and stick is helpful but not required.
- Basic math skills.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Mobility: Sit 5%, Stand 45%, Walk 50%.
- Climbing: Ladder 10%, Incline 30%, Stairs 10%.
- Weight Lifting: Lift 75 lbs to waist height; lift 150 lbs with assistance, carry weight a distance of 20 feet.
