Consulting Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consulting Psychiatrist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide consultative, medical, and emergency services to support the well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
- Provide consultation and support to therapists and staff regarding complex cases.
- Offer medical and emergency support as needed.
- Stay current with developments in psychiatric medicine and best practices in mental health care.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a specialization in Psychiatry.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience in or willingness to work with diverse populations.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules, including remote work.
- Experience working in a therapy practice or similar mental health setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or addiction psychiatry.
- A great sense of humor won't hurt.
